Washington University in St. Louis is committed to supporting diversity in all aspects of our community. That is why, more than 20 years ago, WashU established the Office of Supplier Diversity. The team’s sole focus is identifying viable opportunities within the university for qualified diverse enterprises at the local, regional and national level – and helping sustain these companies over the long term.
Our staff is experienced in the areas of business development, training and support as well as supplier diversity and construction management. We work closely with key departments on both the WashU Danforth and WashU Medical campuses, including Resource Management and Facilities and Planning.
Our expectation is that all goods and services acquired from any business enterprise will meet WashU’s requirements relating to value, quality and timeliness.
